La cirugía mínimamente invasiva de columna es un procedimiento que se hace sobre las vértebras de nuestra columna vertebral. El cirujano realiza una pequeña incisión en la piel, no mayor de 2 cm, e incide en la fascia muscular.

El doctor José María Roda Frade es un neurocirujano con amplia experiencia en prácticamente todos los campos de la neurocirugía, especialmente en la microcirugía vascular cerebral, cirugía de la columna cervical, dorsal y lumbosacra, tumores cerebrales y raquídeos, procesos vasculares del sistema nervioso central y nervios periféricos.
Se licenció en Medicina y Cirugía por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid con calificación de Sobresaliente Cum Laude en el año 1974, cursando su doctorado en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid y con la misma calificación nueve años después.
El Dr. Roda Frade destaca por ser experto en distintos tratamientos de su área. Dentro de la microcirugía vascular cerebral, el doctor es experto en la anastomosis o by-pass extra-intracraneal....

AIM: To demonstrate the microsurgical procedures, and to evaluate the feasibility of living models of experimental neurovascular training by developing new complex vascular exercises mimicking the most common intracranial aneurysms.
MATERIAL and METHODS: The procedures were performed under a Zeiss (OPMI pico f170) microscope using basic microsurgery instruments, 10/0 Nylon and blue Polypropylene micro-sutures.
